• Keyboards in all offices must have Marathi Devanagari alphabet, apart from Roman alphabet.

• Errant officials face disciplinary action.

• Boards promoting Marathi language use will be put up in offices.

• All correspondence, comments, orders, messages, presentations, and websites at office level must be in Marathi.

• Notice boards, name boards of officers, application forms in Marathi will be mandatory in all Central government offices and banks.

• The Marathi Language Policy was approved last year.
