More deportees are coming to Amritsar; Punjab CM slams BJP.
• A U.S. plane carrying 119 alleged illegal Indian immigrants is set to land at Amritsar International Airport.
• This marks the second group of Indian citizens deported from the U.S. following a crackdown on illegal immigrants by U.S. President Donald Trump.
• The latest deportees include 67 from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, eight from Gujarat, three from Uttar Pradesh, two from Goa, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and one each from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
• Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann questioned the landing of the U.S. aircraft in Amritsar, stating that deportation is a national problem.
