Narendra Modi to Transfer ₹10,000 to 75 Lakh Women Under Mukhya Mantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer ₹7,500 crore as the first instalment to 75 lakh women under the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana.

• The scheme aims to create employment opportunities, particularly for rural women, ensuring economic empowerment and strengthening Bihar’s economy.

• The scheme has received over 1.11 crore applications from women, with the Urban Development Department overseeing implementation in urban areas.

• Priority will be given to women from economically weaker sections or those without a permanent income source.

• The State Cabinet approved the scheme on August 29.

• An additional grant of ₹2 lakh will be given to eligible women entrepreneurs after a six-month performance review.
