• The Isak-Muivah faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) disagrees with the 2015 agreement with New Delhi.
• The NSCN claims the Agreed Position was a “coloration” of Article 371A of the Constitution of India.
• The group criticized the Centre’s negotiations with the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) in October 2019, arguing it was difficult to align the Framework Agreement with the Agreed Position.
• The group calls for a full-time interpreter for the negotiations since 2021 and urges Prime Minister Narendra Modi to uphold the Framework Agreement.
