Pakistan lost numerous jets during Operation Sindoor, according to the IAF head

• Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh stated that India significantly damaged Pakistan’s air capabilities during Operation Sindoor.

• The IAF Chief discussed this at the 93rd Air Force Day celebrations in Delhi, detailing the Air Force’s future plans under Roadmap 2047.

• Extensive damage was reported, including the destruction of radars, command-and-control centers, runways, and hangars.

• One C-130 class aircraft and four to five F-16 fighter jets were confirmed destroyed, as well as potential loss of one long-range aircraft.

• Singh dismissed Pakistan’s claims of Indian aircraft losses, calling them “manohar kahaniyan.”

• Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s assertion of downed Indian jets at the UN was rejected by the IAF.

• Future plans include the development of the Sudarshan Chakra air defense system for protecting infrastructure.
