Pakistan Rangers release BSF constable

• Shaw was detained by Pakistan Rangers on April 23, a day after the Pahalgam terror attack.
• The return was made possible through BSF’s consistent efforts through flag meetings and other communication channels.
• The handover was conducted peacefully and in accordance with established protocols.
• The constable was detained while accompanying farmers, who are allowed to cultivate land up to the International Boundary.
• Shaw was taken back from Pakistan at the Attari-Wagah border in Punjab.
• Shaw will undergo “debriefing” before meeting his family or joining duty.
