PMAY Scheme’s Next Phase Announced

• Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announces PMAY’s next phase.
• PM Narendra Modi to distribute sanction letters to 20,000 beneficiaries in Jharkhand on September 15.
• PMAY has sanctioned 2.95 lakh houses from 2014-2024, with 2.66 lakh constructed.
• Two crore houses to be constructed in rural areas and one crore in urban areas.
• PMAY beneficiaries will receive basic amenities like drinking water, toilet facility, gas connection, and power supply.
• Gujarat to receive over ₹99 crore for construction.
• Modi to distribute sanction letters to 10 lakh beneficiaries in Odisha on September 17.
