• Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Andhra Pradesh for the first time since assuming office in 2024.
• The NDA alliance, comprising TDP, BJP, and JSP, formed the Union government.
• Modi, along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and deputy Pawan Kalyan, conducted a brief roadshow in Visakhapatnam.
• The country aims to produce 5 million tons of green hydrogen by 2030.
• Modi also announced the establishment of two green hydrogen hubs, one in Visakhapatnam, as part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
• As part of “Swarnandhra Pradesh,” the state aims to become a $2.5 trillion economy by 2047.
• Other projects include a railway zone, Krishnapatnam industrial hub, and a bulk drug park in Nakkapalli.
