Quad Group Launches Maritime and Health Initiatives

• The Quad condemned aggression in the East and South China Sea and expressed alarm over the war in Ukraine.
• The ‘Quad Cancer Moonshot’ project will involve contributions from all four countries to combat cervical cancer.
• The Quad-at-Sea Ship Observer Mission will be launched in 2025 to improve maritime safety.
• A logistics network pilot project will involve Quad countries sharing airlift capacity for disaster response.
• A Maritime Initiative for Training in the Indo-Pacific (MAITRI) workshop will be launched to train Quad partners to monitor and secure their waters.
