    • India secured a 4-0 lead in its Davis Cup tie against Togo, securing its place in World Group 1.

    • Karan Singh made his Davis Cup debut with a 6-2, 6-3 victory against Hod’abalo Isak Padio.

    • N. Sriram Balaji and Rithvik Choudary Bollipalli won the match 6-2, 6-1 in 57 minutes against M’lapa Tingou Akomlo and Padio.

    • Rithvik’s improving serve led the Indians to control the match.

    • Togo’s youngest player, Padio, played a crucial role in the fightback, while Akomlo was erratic with his serves and returns.

    • Karan Singh, who played the reverse singles, started strongly and won in an hour and 12 minutes against Padio.

    • The match was marked by long rallies and a lack of control over the pace and angle of shots.
