Rekha Gupta takes office as the ninth Chief Minister of Delhi

• Rekha Gupta, a MLA from Bharatiya Janata Party, was sworn in as the ninth Chief Minister of Delhi.

• A six-member Council of Ministers was also sworn into office.

• Gupta will oversee key portfolios including Finance, Revenue, Women and Child Development, Services and Vigilance, and other unallocated departments.

• The Cabinet includes Parvesh Sahib Singh, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj, Kapil Mishra, and Pankaj Singh.

• BJP leaders offered prayers at the Yamuna Ghat, with cleaning the Yamuna as a top priority.
