Sri Lanka’s President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to Visit India in Mid-December
• President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who took office in September, will visit India in mid-December.
• The visit follows the installation of Sri Lanka’s new Cabinet following his party’s victory in the November 14 general elections.
• The visit is yet to be fixed, but Colombo and New Delhi are working on a mutually convenient schedule.
• High-level visits will be considered after the conclusion of the parliamentary polls.
• The Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka has visited Jaffna on Tuesday.
