Stalin and Pradhan clash on NEP’s linguistic provision.

 •Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin defended Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for promoting Hindi under the National Education Policy’s (NEP 2020) three-language policy.

• Stalin stated that he would not tolerate any harmful actions against Tamil and Tamil Nadu.

• Pradhan argued that Tamil Nadu’s opposition to the NEP deprived students of opportunities.

• Stalin accused the Centre of promoting Hindi in a country where people speak different languages.

• Stalin warned the Centre not to provoke Tamil sentiments or prompt them to show their distinct traits.
