Subroto Cup International Football Tournament Launch

• The 64th Subroto Cup International football tournament will commence on August 19 with the junior girls’ (under-17) event and conclude with the junior boys’ competition on September 25.

• The tournament will be organized in a staggered manner, with Bengaluru hosting the sub-junior boys’ (under-15) event.

• The tournament, organized by the Subroto Mukerjee Sports Education Society (SMSES) under the Air Force Sports Control Board, will also include a bone age-determination test for the sub-junior boys’ category.

• Matches in Delhi-NCR will be held at four venues, while Bengaluru matches will be held at Air Force School (Jalahalli), Air Force School (Yelahanka) and HQ Training Command football ground.

• A total of 106 teams will participate across the three categories.
