Telangana’s Special Assembly meets tomorrow to discuss caste census.

• The Telangana government plans to convene a special session of the Assembly on Tuesday to discuss and adopt the comprehensive report of the Socio, Economic, Education, Employment, Political, and caste survey.

• The State Cabinet will approve the survey report, which will be followed by the special session of the Assembly.

• Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy described the caste survey as a revolutionary step towards ensuring social justice in Telangana.

• The survey, which covered 96.9% of the population, was approved by the State Cabinet on February 4 and the legislature on February 16.
