    Indian Textile Industry Watches U.S. Tariff Announcements

    • Confederation of Indian Textile Industry chairman Rakesh Mehra reports the industry is monitoring tariff-related announcements.

    • Initial signs suggest Indian exporters can expand U.S. access, becoming more price competitive.

    • U.S. imposed a 35% tariff on exports from Bangladesh.

    • Industry anticipates a mini trade deal soon.
