    • The total outlay is nearly ₹2.07 lakh crore.

    • The highest absolute increase in MSP over the previous year is recommended for nigerseed (₹820 per quintal).

    • The MSP for nigerseed was revised from ₹8,717 per quintal in 2024-25 to ₹9,537.

    • The MSP for ragi was revised from ₹4,290 per quintal to ₹4,886.

    • The MSP for medium staple variety was revised from ₹7,121 to ₹7,710 and for long staple variety from ₹7,521 to ₹8,110.

    • The MSP for sesamum was revised from ₹9,267 per quintal to ₹9,846.

    • The increase aligns with the Union Budget 2018-19 announcement of fixing the MSP at a level of at least 1.5 times of the all-India weighted average cost of production.
