• Chin National Defence Force (CNDF) and Chinland Defence Force-Hualngoram (CDF-H) clash for control of strategic border trade areas with India.

• CNDF captured all eight camps of CDF-H after two days of fire.

• Over 30,000 refugees from Myanmar and Bangladesh live in Mizorams.

• 2,000 Kuki-Chin refugees from Bangladesh arrived two years ago due to clashes with Bangladeshi security forces.

• Over 5,000 Kuki-Zo people displaced by ethnic violence in Manipur have also been sheltering in Mizoram since 2023.
