• Tigers managed to claw back twice to force a 2-2 draw in regulation time, despite struggling from eight penalty corners.

• Pardeep Singh Sandhu scored into an empty net to equalize at the end of the first half.

• Dragons took the advantage through Selvam Karthi in less than two minutes from the restart.

• Sam Lane scored a goal in the fourth quarter to level the score.

• Tigers will face Hyderabad Toofans in the title-decider on Saturday after thrashing Soorma Hockey Club 3-1 in the second semifinal.

• Toofans took the lead through Amandeep Lakra’s drag-flick into the right corner, but Soorma struggled in attack and from short corners.

• The results: Bengal Tigers 2 (Pardeep Singh Sandhu 30, Sam Lane 53), Tamil Nadu Dragons 2 (Nathan Ephraums 18, Selvam Karthi 32), Tigers won the shootout 6-5.
