    Union Cabinet Approves ₹1,000 Crore Venture Capital Fund for Space Firms

    • Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw approves a ₹1,000 crore venture capital fund for space tech firms.
    • Fund to be set up under the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre.
    • Fund will select approximately 40 firms based on commercialisation potential.
    • Deployment planned over five years, with ₹150 crore in 2025-26, ₹250 crore in the next three, and ₹100 crore in 2029-30.
