West Bengal Forest Department Traces Tiger Zeenat
• Four teams, including Hula party members, are tracing Zeenat, a three-year-old female tiger, in Purulia district.
• The tiger, which escaped from Similipal Reserve Forest in Odisha, has been elusive for over two weeks.
• The tiger has moved to Dangardi forests in Manbazar, and has been capturing goats and spreading fear among residents.
• Forest officials have set up traps, drones, night vision equipment, and monitoring teams to capture or drive the tiger out.
• The department has made a new strategy to capture the tiger, including four teams equipped with radio trackers, tranquillisers, cages, and traps.
