Work on the first phase of the forest safari in the Aravalis will begin soon

• The Minister met with Union Power and Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal and Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav in Delhi to discuss the project.

• The project, one of the poll promises made by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, has faced opposition from retired Indian Forest Service officers who argue it aims to increase tourist footfall rather than conserve the mountain range.
