    • Singh emphasized the global geopolitical situation is marked by rapid shifts, disruptions, and conflicts.

    • He highlighted issues such as de-globalisation, intense nationalism, resource scarcity, human migration, food security, climate concerns, and threat of global pandemics.

    • He highlighted the rapid expansion of warfare beyond traditional domains to space, cyberspace, the undersea, and newer creative endeavours.

    • Singh emphasized the need for joint operation in a multi-domain environment where cyber, space, and information warfare will be as potent as conventional operations.

    • He called for officers to develop critical thinking skills, be aware of emerging technologies, geopolitical landscape, and national security requirements.

    • The Defence Ministry has decided to observe 2025 as the “Year of Reforms”, aiming to transform the armed forces into a technologically-advanced combat-ready force capable of multi-domain integrated operations.
