Youngster Sarthak Chavan wins first National title
• Sarthak Chavan, 17, becomes the youngest-ever to win a title in the premier Pro-Stock 301-400cc Open class at the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship.
• He won Race-1, putting him beyond his rivals in the points tally.
• Chiranth Vishwanath, 17, from Bengaluru, won the Pro-Stock 165cc Open race.
• TVS Racing swept the podium spots, with K.Y. Ahamed and Sarthak finishing second and third.
• The girls’ (Stock 165cc) race resulted in an unexpected result as two championship contenders Ryhana Bee and Rakshitha Dave crashed in the third lap.
• The results are provisional and all six laps unless mentioned.
