3. Sri Abhirup Bhattacharjee, Deputy Magistrate & Deputy Collector (WBCS Exe Rank 3, 2018)
4. Sri Subrata Bhattacharya, Consultant Psychologist.
We tried to discuss every aspect of candidate’s life and suggest any addition alteration of the way of speaking, how to tackle tough questions, overall grooming etc. It was also probably first time that a psychologist was included in the board but he was not visible all the time as a rule of the game. After each interview there is separate feedback part in this same video in last 2/3 minutes.

| Questions & Answers discussed in actual interview : | I was asked about my family details , name of school University present job etc. Rest of the questions were asked on police service only as it was my 1st preference. I could answer most of the questions asked by the honorable board members. The board members were very cordial and it was nice talking to them for half an hour. 1)From which school did you pass out from? In which college did you study? 2)Where are you working now? 3)What is your first preference? Ans)Policing is my first preference. Chairman Sir – Very good. 4)Why did you select this as your first preference? 5)As you want to be in policing , I will give you 2 googly’s , answer them. Ans- I could answer one of them , and the other I was trying but couldn’t answer. So , Chairman Sir told me the answer and then passed me to the next interviewer. 6)What is community policing? 7)What are policing reforms? 8)As this is your first preference , what is the reason behind that? Are you passionate about this service? 9)What does your husband do? If you get into this , your family life will get hampered. 10)What is the difference in work of an ADGP and a DSP? 11)Does community policing hamper core policing? What do you think? 12)Tell me about the police headquarters. 13)He asked me the meaning of a word which I couldn’t say , so he told me the answer and told that I have done very well and wished me all the best. After that chairman Sir told that my interview was over and asked me to leave. I said thank you. |
