Hell on Earth

• Gaza has become “hell on earth” with over 52,000 Palestinians killed in 19 months, mainly women and children.

• 2.3 million residents have been displaced multiple times, with tens of thousands wounded in a territory lacking basic medical facilities.

• Israel has imposed a renewed siege on Gaza, deepening the hunger crisis and threatening the survival of Palestinians.

• Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government plans to launch an intensified ground offensive to capture and hold territory and control aid delivery.

• The offensive has already reduced much of northern Gaza and forced the displacement of over one million people.

• Despite the use of inhumane military tactics, Israel has faced little resistance from powerful nations.

• The Biden administration and President Trump have provided consistent military and diplomatic support throughout the war.

• The best opportunity for peace was the January 2025 ceasefire agreement, which required Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza and Hamas releasing the remaining hostages.

• If Netanyahu continues with his plans, it will deepen the moral and humanitarian crisis and deal a devastating blow to any attempt to end the conflict through talks.
