Rectification of WBCS Exam Application 2020
West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBCS) has activated the link to make online correction in the application form of WBCS. The facility is available for candidates till December 3. The official notification issued in this regard reads, “In view of the requests received by the applicants for correction in the online application form, the commission has decided to provide the facility to edit the details in the application form. Accept academic qualification and groups including optional subjects, candidates cannot change other details in WBCS application form. It reads:
In view of requests received from the applicants for rectification in their online applications in connection with the West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) etc. (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 (Advt. No.22/2019) Public Service Commission, West Bengal has decided to provide an edit option to the applicants for the period from 09.12.2019 to 16.12.2019 and the applicants who have already submitted their applications for this examination can rectify all the fields (except the fields preloaded from enrolment I.D.) in their applications submitted online by logging into their respective accounts at www.pscwbapplication.in during the period mentioned above. No other form of request would be accepted.
According to the exam pattern, the preliminary exam will consist of one paper. The test will carry 200 marks. The duration of the test will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
West Bengal Civil Service (Exe) etc. Examination 2020 is conducted for various posts of Group A,B,C&D. The selection process of WBCS comprises three stages – preliminary, mains and interview.
